The Air Jordan 3 OG Black Cement is set to make its highly anticipated return early 2018 for its 30th Anniversary. Originally released in 1988, the “Black Cement” Air Jordan 3 was debuted by Michael Jordan during his 1987-1988 MVP season, as well as during the 1988 All-Star Game in Chicago. Following its original debut, the classic Air Jordan 3 went on to re-release in 1994, 2001, 2008 and last seen in 2011. To this day, the “Black Cement” 3s are one of the most beloved Air Jordan model of all-time.
Just like the iconic silhouettes of the past, the Nike AJ3 ‘Black Cement’ is crafted with premium grain leather from heel to toe. A full shade of black covers the upper with contrasting hits of grey to the tongue as well as the lace surround. A vibrant red colourway gives a bold contrast to the tongue and oversized Jumpan insignia makes an appearance.
Sections of elephant print add to the exclusivity factor, hitting the sidewall overlays across the toe and heel. A white midsole sits underfoot complete with a visible Air Unit in the heel which powers each stride with Flight technology.
Look for the Air Jordan 3 Retro OG “Black Cement” to release on Michael Jordan’s birthday, February 17th at select Jordan Brand retailers. The retail price tag is set at $200 USD.
