The Nike Air More Uptempo is one of Nike’s pivotal 90s basketball silhouette, that is now set to return in its original Black/White colorway in 2016.
Made famous by Scottie Pippen during the Chicago Bulls’ record-setting 1995-1996 NBA season – which would have made more sense for them to drop last year to go along with the Air Jordan 11 “72-10” release.
Returning in its original form, the shoe sports a Black nubuck upper, with White accents and trim throughout. The best feature of the shoe includes the large “A-I-R” lettering, spelled out on each side panel. Finishing off the build is a full-length Air unit and Black rubber outsole.
Look for the Nike Air Uptempo OG “Black/White” to make another appearance on March 23rd, 2016 at select Nike Sportswear retail stores. The retail price tag is set at $180 USD.
