Continuing where Virgil Abloh’s various Off-White™ collabs began, Nike has opted to continue its path down the line of deconstructed sneakers that effectively strip back the look of some of its silhouettes. After previewing a deconstructed inside-out pair of Air Max 1s, the sportswear giant has now released a new iteration of the Drop-Type LX with a similarly stripped-back look.
this is a Swoosh sneaker that you don’t want to miss out on, and here’s everything that you need to know!
Taking deconstruction to a whole other level, the Drop Type LX White Blue is a mix between the legendary All Court and the iconic Blazer with elements of the 2001 Air Mowabb mixed in as well. Featuring a clean white upper, it’s crafted from buttery smooth leather while a layered toe cap hits the front for an intriguing aesthetic. Exposed foam makes its way to the tongue for a deconstructed approach, while black leather graces the heel region.
To round it all off, Swoosh outlines featuring throughout in white for a concept stage-vibe, and “N.354” is pencilled on the lateral side where a giant Swoosh logo usually features.
You can take a look at the newly released Nike Drop-Type LX in Mint and Blue above, and if you’re interested in picking up a pair, head over to Milk Store or AFEW where they are currently priced at €80 EUR (approximately $90 USD).
